Here is our process for engaging new clients:


  1. Complimentary initial consultation- We get to know each other and understand your needs.

  2. Discovery- We gather information of your investments and overall financial picture, and more importantly, what you care about.  This is to make certain your investments are best positioned to meet your goals.

  3. Analysis- We do our homework; analyze your portfolio, review individual investments, consider your tax situation to see if there is any room for improvements.

  4. Recommendation Meeting- We talk about our findings and how we might help.  If we decide to work together, we transfer/open accounts and implement any changes.

  5. We prepare an organizational binder and deliver it to you, if desired.

  6. We establish access to online performance reporting for you through CIR Statements.

  7. We establish your access to CLIC Client Portal.  This secure website gives you access to your entire financial picture.  You can view progress to financial goals, track spending, create budgets, view your investments, and securely store documents in an online vault.

  8. We then either meet in person, video conference, or have a phone call approximately each quarter.  At these meetings we check to see if any investment goals have changed, review the accounts, and implement any changes to the portfolio.  Although we do this in detail quarterly, we are always available to answer questions.

  9. With your permission, we will send all relevant tax statements to your tax professional.
